Mr. W. Moore reports holding his Beech
worth market on Tuesday, when he had
the heaviest supply of fat cattle and sheep
for the year. There was a good attend
ance of buyers, and although prices ruled
easier he succeeded in effecting a clear
ance (with the exception of a few pens) of
the whole number yarded. He quotes —
Best bullocks, £5 3s. to £5 16s. ; second
and lighter, £4 os. to £4 !6s. ; cows £2 to
tcs as. ; neirers, ius. to to lis. ; vent
ers, ,14s. to £1 4s. ; store cows, £1 4s. to
£1 10s. ; steers, to £1 17s.. 'Sheep.—
Crosfbred ewes and wethers, 7s. 3d. to' 7s.
9d. ; merino ewes and wethers, 4s. 1 Od.
to 5s. ; lambs, 4s. 2d. to 5s. 9d. ..At above
