and Beechworth Fire-brigade, who will
discharge a magnificent lot of Fireworks
en route.
PROMENADE CONCERT
IN TOWN HALL GARDENS.
The B.B. Band are rehearsing a most
attractive programme of High-class Music,
which in itself will be worth the amount
charged for admission.
Phyrotechnic Display & Grand
Illuminations.
This department is under the manage
ment of Mr A. McLEAN, and the Fire
works have been generously supplied bv
the HON. J. A. WALLACE, M.L.O.,
and the HON. I. A. ISAACS, M.L.A.,
which will be sufficient guarantee to as
sure the public that it wfll be the finest
display ever witnessed in Beechworth, to
say nothing of the thousand and one other
novelties in the way of illuminating the
Gardens, which will be accomplished in a
manner never attempted here before.
Gas will be blazing all over the Gardens
— in fact, the light would Charm Mephis-
topheles himself.
