WOMAN'S LONG AGONY.
INDIGESTION BLIGHTED MRS.
HELTON'S LIFE TILL SHE LOST
FAITH IN PHYSIC ; BUT—
mother seigel's syrup
freed her from pain,
and cured her.
«' Had I bob known the valne of Mother
Seigel's Syrup as I do now," writes Mrs.
Emma BelthD, '218, George Street Syanoy,
N.S.W., ' I Bboald have been Bpared
many years of such suffering aa I trust I
may never have to undergo again. But
I did not know, and I had lost all faith In
physic, for I had tried doctor after dooter,
and found no relief. Indeed the med-
lcines I took seemed to do more harm
than good."
Mm. Helton's letter is dated the 2nd of
Marnh, 1906, and oontinues : " For nearly
eleven years I suffered from Indigestion,
and it wonld be impossible for me to des
cribe the pain and misery I endured _ in
that time. It was terrible. Everything
late upset my stomach and disagreed
with me for hoars ; and after the ltghest
meal I felt as tbongh a ton of lead was
resting on my ehesb.
THOUGHT HERSELF INCURABLE
" I bad oome to look upon my ailment
as hopelessly Incurable, and had almost
given up seeking for a cure, when I was
advised to make one more effort for health
trw Mother Selffel's SvruD. I am
thankful to say that the good effects of
this great medicine Boon showed themsel
ves. After only three small bottleB I
conld eat and sleep better than I had
done. for years, and the pain and distress
I had so loDg endured were ever so much
lessened. I was really enoonraged, and
continued with the Syrup, gaining health
and strength with every dose, till in the
end I was quite restored to health, ano
have continued so ever since. Mother
Seigel's Syrup was the sole meana of my
onre. It is the beBt medicine I know of,
and I sincerely trust thac my story may be
the means of directing others, who suffer
from this terrible malady, to a remedy
which I know will core them."
Oonld we bat know the right thing to
do In all olrcomstances how well we mighi
regulate our lives ! Of course we cannot,

nan supply ns with the wisdom which they
themselves have gained only after long
suffering.
