. M.U.YKRN CLUB OPENING.
3Iulvcrn opened the season with a social gamer-
Jng on Saturday. The increased interest in tennis
by residents lias augmented the membership roll
of the club beyond the limits of present accom
modation, and negotiations are now In hand to
meet the increased requirements. The finals of
the two events in the club's annual tournament
were played. Tlie. cricketer J. lloran, who was
partnered by Cowles, won the doubles handicap
from scratch, defeating the. two senior pennant
performers S. Ralph antl V. Kranbenbcrg, who
were handicapped at "owe 15," after a touch nnd
go tussle for the second set at 6--1, 8—6; The
deciding match for the mixed doubles handicap
provided an interesting contest, in which H. An
thony and Miss Martin (owe 15) beat Ncedham
ami Miss Ilill (receive 15), 6—3, 7—5.

MOB.— A tennis match .between "NVarragul nnd
Moe teams was played at Moe on Saturday. After
a very exciting contest, with many brilliant ral
lies, Moe secured the victory. Wilson and M'Cul-
loch, for Warragul. played splendidly, as did
Treloar for Moe. Result:— Banbrook and Gibson
(Moe) ' bent M'Culloch nnd Gh?er, and lost to
Greer and Wilson; Hughes nnd Trelonr (Moe) beat
M'Culloch and Wilson and Greer and Wilson. To
tals: Moo, 3 rubbers; Warragul, 1 riibber.
