A meeting of tlie local Liberal leagues
was held ait tlie 'city hall to-night
to hear addresses from Messrs. M. Baird,
-solicitor; Alex. Bell, auctioneer; and Chas.
Hamilton, barrister, who are nominees l'n

liamentary election in Ballarat West. Mr.
