Deaths.
ALEXANDER.—On the 27th November, at his parents'
residence, Numurkah, Ormond James, the dearly be-
loved and only child of James and Mary Alexander,
aged 3 years and 9 months.
Safe in the arms of Jesus,

ANNEAR.—On the 1st December, at Nightingale-street,
Balaclava, after a short and painful illness, Florence
May, the beloved infant daughter of F. L. and C. M.
Annear, aged 7 months.
CRACKNELL.—On the 24th November, at Maldon,
Caroline Norma, the beloved and only daughter of
Samuel and Caroline Cracknell, Newmarket, aged 3
years 11 months. Deeply regretted by all who knew

FINN.—On the 3rd December, W. J. Finn, late ex-
inspect, after a long and painful illness, fortified by the
rites of Holy Church. R.I. P.
JACKSON.—On the 20th November, accidentally killed
by falling from the Rocks, Watson's Bay, Sydney,
William Ridgway Jackson, Esq., second son of Thomas
Jackson, Esq., of Belfast, Ireland, and beloved brother
of Mrs. Lydia J. Buckingham, of Simpson-street, East
Melbourne.
KINGSLEY.—On the 3rd December, at his residence,
Myrtle-grove, Box Hill, Michael Klngsley, aged 70
years, late of Dunkerrin, Ireland.
LAWRENCE.—On the 3rd December, at her parents' re-
sidence, Butler-street, Northcote, Eveline Rose, the be-
loved infant daughter of Francis George and Catherine
Lawrence, aged 11 months.
MARLOW.—On the 3rd December, at Edinburgh
House, corner of Canning-street and Davis-street,
North Carlton, Sarah, the beloved youngest daughter of
the late Douglas Marlow, aged 25 years.
MARSHALL.—On the 27th November, at his parents'
residence, 39 Strand-terrace, Bridge-street, Port Mel-
bourne, Laurence George, the infant son of George and
Martha Marshall, aged 6 months, of convulsions.
MONCRIEFF.—On the 28th November, Thomas, the
beloved husband of Rosena Moncrieff of the Boundary
Hotel, Romsey.
McDONALD.—On the 3rd December, at Marlow House,
Park-street, Parkville, Emily, the beloved daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jno. McDonald, aged 15 years and 4
months, after a short but painful illness. Geelong

RATTEN.—On the 3rd December, at the residence of
her daughter in law, Cotham-road, Kew, Harriet, relict
of the late Mr. Thomas Ratten, aged 91 years, and a
colonist of 45 years.
WILLIAMS.—On the 30th November, at Stawell, at his
mother's residence, Ligar-street, John Theophilus, the
dearly beloved son of Eliza and the late Rees Williams,
aged 21 years.
Pale death could scarcely find another
So good a son, so fond a brother;
In all his actions he was kind,
And left his loved ones all behind.

EDWARDS.—In loving remembrance of my dear
mother, who died at Adderley-street, West Melbourne,
4th December, 1885.

HANRAHAN.—In affectionate remembrance of our
dearly beloved brother, Thomas William, who died on
4th December, 1885, at Howard-street, Hotham, aged
33 years. Also, our loving mother, Anne, who died
12th November, 1886, at Abbotsford-street, Hotham,
59 years. Deeply regretted.
They are gone, but not forgotten,

ROBINSON.—In loving remembrance of my dear hus-
band, Henry Markland Robinson, son of the late
Richard Maxwell Robinson, of Liverpool, who departed
this life on the 5th December, 1885, at Burwood-road,
