- In pursuance of tlie provisions of tl)c Marine Act
,1890 and tho Regulations thereunder, it is hereby
notified that an ELECTION will be .held to supply
an extraordinary vacancy on the Boanl in the repre
sentation of- Registered Shin Owners, . caused by the
death of Mr; >Tames Edinunn Lcrcsche; and it is fur
ther notified that, in accordance with the requirements
of the said act and .regulations, Thursday, the 4tl» day
-of August, 1698, has been appointed . as the day of
nomination.
- It is required that the nomination papers of all
