THE GEELONO TOURNAMENT.
On Saturday, the annual Easter tennis tourna
ment, conducted by the Gcelong Tennis Club,
commenced on tho local courts. These, by the
way, were in capital playing condition, and tho
weather was all that could be desired. Among tho
best of the many good gomes played during the
day -were the contests between Mias E. Shaw ami
Miss E. Guthrie in the second round of the Ladle'
Single Handicap; the hard trial between Dunlop
and Irving, in the Championship, and the defeat
of the last named player in the second round ot
the Handicap by Galbraith. The results of tho
