The weather continues dry and seasonable.
The crops are looking fresh, and the appear
ance of the country generally is encouraging.
HORSHAM. Tuesday.
The weather is beautifully une. Reports
from the country state that the recent rains
have had a most beneficial effect on tbo crops,
and tbe fanners aro now looking forward to
another good harvest.
ADELAIDE. Tuesday.
It is raining heavily to-night, and tho down
pour appears to be general.

S.E. winds. South Australia : Generally over
cast, threatening rain; clear in S.K.; light,
moderate S.E. to N.B. winds. Victoria and
Straits: Fine ad clear and generally calm in
land : fine but cloudy on coast. Tasmania : Fine
but cloudy, with light W. aud N. winds. Now
South Wales : Generally cloudy near coast, with
light and variable winds ; fine and clear inland.
Queensland : No report. Central and North Aus-
tralia : Generally fino, with scattered clouds and
north-westerly winds. New Zealand : No re
port.
