EVENING AT PANITYA
A number of friends invaded the
home of Mr. and Mrs. M. Vale
during last week-end to join in
celebrating the birthday of Mr. Ken
Jones. A pleasant evening was spent;
by the gathering and the guest re
ceived the good wishes of those pre
sent. Messrs M. Skipworth and M.t
Vale spoke on behalf of the gather
ing and the guest responded.

After discussion on the advisability
of treating footpaths in the Pinnarooi
township with various materials il'
was decided that council procure H
tons of gypsum from Victoria for
use on footpaths. This material ha®
been used with success in Victoria®
towns, and it is hoped that success
will also be achieved in Pimsaroo.
