UNIFORM FRUIT CASES.
At tbe meeting of fruitgrowers held
at Franklin on Wednesday the matter
of the necessity for a uniform size ot
fruit cases for tho Commonwealth
came up for discussion. It was stated
that Tasmanlan cases were not always
of the same size, and It frequently happened
that In Melbourne, Tasmanlan
apples bad to be placed In larger cases
before they oould be sold. It was
pointed out that West Australia and
Victoria wore in lino with regard to
the matter and that a uniform size all
round would be satisfactory to everyone
concerned In the Industry. After
some discussion it was decided to instruct
tbe Tasmanlan delegates to tbe
forthcoming Agricultural Conference
