RIFLE SHOOTING.
QUEF.NSTOWN MATCHES.
The .Mount Lj-ell club memhers were
all out "for keeps" on Saturday last
at Penghana, when they fired the
fourth match of t.hp round for the
Hood trophy, and. being favored by a
remarkably fine day, put up a capital
total of 1SS, which Isjliv far the best
yet made in tho contest in question.
Tom Macbin was the hero of the
shoot, and put up 99 in great style,
his range totals being 32, 33, and 34,
at 300, 000, nod 700 yards respectively.
He was closely pushed by all the
other members of the team, who
scored as follows:—C. Butterworth

M. Rowland and W. H. Wesley 97
