THE FIRE AT MR. TRAYHTTRN'S.
CAUTION.
THE undersigned having received information that
Poter Sobmutter, who was living on the premises
at the time of the accident, has been collecting money
from the inhabitants of Maitland and others under the
representation of his intention of rebuilding tlio shop
and other excuses, I deem it right to inform the
public that the above party cannot have any such
intentions, nor has he any claim whatever to the sym-
pathy of any one, for I am the sole sufferer, as the
premises and implements of trade belonged to me ; and,
moreover, the fire must have originated through the
carelessness of the above party.

of three pairs best French burr mill-stones, patent dress-

wheat per week, if well attended. Tho building is a

treme length being near sixty feet by thirty-five, " ex-

not necessary to describo the land that surrounds tho
capital of Now England, as its grain-productive capa-
bilities are too well known to require comment; and
