Obituary
The death occurred in the Mooroopna
Hospital on August 24, of
Mr Albert Trewin, aged 77. The
late Mr Trewin came to Tallygatoopna
from Ballarat when a boy,
and later acquired a farm near
Tallygaroopna, on which he lived
until about 12 months ago, when
he retired to live in Shepparton.
He is survived by his wife (nee
Elizabeth Kittle) and son Thomas.
Mr Trewin was a member of the
Shepparton Shire Council from
1919 until 1937, and held the office of
president in 1925-26. He was
past President of the Shepparton
Agricultural Society, a member of
the committee of the Tallygaroopna
Memorial Hall, a trustee of the
Methodist Church, and a past cap
tain of the Tallygaropna Rifle Club.

Rowan, a former well-known
and higlily-esteemed indent of
Katamatite district. He was
at K ton and came to Katamatite
in 19I6 from Terip Terip,
where he had se'ected land about
1890. Of a quiet,though cheerful
mature and happy disposition, he
made manv frionds in the district,
and his passim? Is keenly regretted,
