Cricket Association.
At the annual meeting of the Numurkah-Cobram
District Cricket Association,
held at Katunga last
week, all the retiring officers were
re-elected, viz. President, Mr S. H.
Scott (Cobram); vice-Presidents,
Messrs W. T. Rowe (Katunga), A.
S. Marshall (Numurkah), G. Willcox,
W. McNamara (Strathmerton)
and W. Wilton (Barooga); secretary,
Mr W. C. Shaw (Numurkah).
Drumaaure was admitted to the association,
which will comprise 13
teams. After a long discussion it was
decided to play in two divisions, _
formerly. The first matches in the
southern division will commence on
Saturday next,'and in the northern
division on Saturday, October 20
o play will take place after Novmber
24 until January.
