All sections of the community have
been working hard to support their
various candidates in the Tallimba
Queen pompettion . *
A very enjoyable carnival was held
aj. Mr. Woods' property at Tallimba
in. aid of . the .Diggers' candidate
(Miss A. Brideoake). .
?Mr. W.. Armstrong kindly took his
motor boat to the carnival to the de
light.of old and young. It was full of
' passengers all the afternoon on the
fbtchjtIe like a lake.',f ... ,;
In the evening a very, enjoyable
dance finished up the day.
C.W;A. CANDIDATE
For the C.W.A. candidate . (Miss
Mary Pollock) a dance was held on
Monday last at Brennan's Tank Hall.
There, W&b a splendid attendance .^nd
the music was voluntarily, supplied by
Mrs.. Marlow and ? Mr. Coo.k, Miss
O. GOBS, Mr. P. O'Brien, Mr. S. Pilon,
and Mr RlcFadyen. Those present
spent a very happy time. A tasty sup
per was provided by the ladies.
