WENT THROUGH
WITHOUT HITCH
Cr. A. Kelly, of Barmed
man, had little difficulty in
getting results when general
business was announced,at
a West Wyalong meeting of
Bland Shire Council.
Hg asked for details of pro
posed kerbing and guttering
, work in Harmedman, and w.m
informed by Engineer C. H.
Martin that the work is in hand,
liand.
lie next asked that the En
gineer inspect two chains of
road near Mr. W. II. Moore's
property, on the Oartnedmau
Wargin road, near a railway
crossing, and this was agreed
to by Council.
Cr. Kelly was also informed
by Engineer Martin that a
School bus route he mentioned
for attention would be com
pleted in the near future.
It was plain sailing for Cr.
Kelly, but it is not always so
easy, 011 account of a huge list
of work already listed, for at
tention.
OTHER REQUESTS
Cr. F. Rossiter, of Thulloo,
also mentioned a dangerous
hole on the ,'turn off on the
Voungareen road, on the way to
Monument Flats, and Engineer
Martin will also attend to this
complaint.
