Heroic Wrestler
Honroth Saves Life
When news camo that a
fishing
boat containing two
men, «G.
T.
Stephens and his son
Leslie,
had
been wrecked outside Lakes Entrance
on Sunday
morning. Charles
Honroth.
the well-known wre.stler, was
one of the crowd who found
his way
to the beach.
Far out beyond the breakers
he
saw Leslie Stephens struggling in vain
against the strong undertow.
The
e\d»»r man
bad
disappeared.
The
wrestler swam
out
through
the
breakers and brought tho son safely
to shore.
Only a particulavly powerful
and courageous swimmer
could
have accomplished the feat.
Honroth, who was recently
married,
was spending his honeymoon at
Lake.< Entrance.
He is a magnificent
type of young Australian,
and
had he not taken to the mat might
have made a big name for himself
as a swimmer.
This is not tho first time he has
iaved life in the water.-
Once
on
tho Goulburn. near Alexandra,
he
