MULTUDO'S SPRINT
Rosehill Handicap To
Forestry
SYDNEY, Saturday. — Doubles operations on the Rosehill
and Auburn Handicaps at Rosehill today were upset when
the New Zealand gelding, Forestry, scored by two lengths from
the favorite, Le Legion, in the Rosehill Handicap.
With J. Pike in the saddle, Multudo (10.3) made no mistake
in the Auburn Handicap, over six furlongs, winning comfortably
from the well-backed Leila Vale, with Turbine (8/1)
third.

Maiden Juvenile Handicap at Rosehill
races today, was suspended from riding
for a month following an enquiry into
interference suffered by Sipal and other
runners. . . . .
Ryan told the stewards that his mount
was lugging in. but they found that he
had not made sufficient effort to avoid
' trouble.
