Meetings

Leading Ballarat harrier clubs hare
held their annual meetings, and tbe
Eben.'Zfr dub bas decided to be
known in future'as the Ebenezer
Athletic Club, dropping the descriptive
term, "harriers."
The Ballarat Club had an attendance
of more than 30 runners at its
annual meeting- The President, Mr
Cliff Williams, in moving the adoption
of the report of the retiring secretary,
Mr Alan Mackie, said that tbe
cluh had experienced a successful
year, and tbe affairs ot the club had
progressed smoothly, all working
amicably together. They regretted
that the track competition had not
been carried out to tlie end of the
programme, the other clubs failing
to keep up their team strength.
