The counter attraction at Yarraville
was evidently the cause of the poor at
tendance.
Williamstown were first away, and
scored two singles before Blake secured
and snapped first goal of the day.
Williamstown were taking full advantage
of a strong following breeze, and
attacked consistently. Three more singles
were added before Sinclair snapped

' Sandringham had not yet taken the
ball over half way. No doubt they were
badly handicapped by Yemm's absence.
Sandringham at last broke away, and
from a scrimmage in front raised
single.
Williamstown again forwarded, and
Walsh securing, snapped a goal from an
acute angle.
Sandringham countered along the
pavilion wing, and fought hard for their
second single.
Williamstown again assumed control,
and after having several singles scored
goals by Helwig and Dixon. An attempt
by Sandringham was unlucky to hit the

It was easily Williamstown's quarter,
although their kicking left much to be

Sandringham appeared to be completely
disorganised and unable to cope
with Williamstown's constant onslaught,
Sandringham's first goal for the quarter
was scored by R. Kcnna, Who was
playing his 50th consecutivc game.

It was an uninteresting game, with Williamstown
always on top.
