\VE are hopeful of winning the Australian
Hurdle with our onlv
starter, Pitoota. His owner, Mr H. K.
Connolly, has this fellow in groat heart
Pitoota galloped a round of the course
in 1.50 with Dark Man. Going the better
throughout, he came home extra well.
This was an excellent effort for hurdler, especially as Pitoota is not a
good track horse.
Lynden did not do so veil. Havinc bis
first gallop since competing in the Douita
Galla Hurdle, he took 1.33. thouch as<
aisled by two horses. The last half
