Valpar Again Track Champion
At Maribyrnong
PREVIOl'S lo her Wcrrihee Cup success, a few weeks aco. Valpar followed
up a run of track victories by winning the Maribyrnong championship.
On Saturday night the Andy—La Rebel bitch repeated (he
performance, winning by two lengths in time equalling the record.
Mystic Peak was second and Snow Lad third. Owner J. Lyons has
Valpar right at her top. and it will be interesting lo see how she fares in
the Waterloo Cup at Gcelong this week.

Stake on Saturday. He fully Justified support
by racing away from his field to win

Lea wood third.
