Globe gets scoop
on Tommy Trinder
This morning The Sporting Globe signed
Tommy Trinder on the regulation Form 5 to
play for The Globe Football team against 3DB
at St. Kilda on August 24.
The 3DB Earbashers had
ontacted Mr Trinder, but
s usual they were all talk. I
hey didn't sign him.
In
protest
they
have
ritten the following open
etter to Tommy
accusing
im of being a turn-coat:
Dear Tommy,
So yer goin' to play fer
them mugs, the
Sporlin'

Well, we're tellin'

A fine programme has
been arranged. It includes
baseball, lacrosse, Irish
dancing, athletes from the
Victorian Women's Athletic
Association, relay race
between St. Kilda and
Brighton footballers and a
full hour of greyhound racing,
including flat and
hurdle events.

FOOTBALL GROUND.
The date: SUNDAY,
AUGUST 24.

CRIPPLED KIDDIES.
