BRISBANE
Western Suburhs defeated Eastern
Suburbs 20-18, and qualified to meet
Valley in the final for the Rugby
League President's Cup next Saturday.
Casers scored three tries, and
T. J. White, West's fuU-back, got
seven goals from ten shots, and won
the match. White, who is 23, did a
very good - job . in his •— position, but D.
O Connor was preferred to him in
the Brisbane side to meet Toowoomba.
Valley defeated Brothers 25-8. Two
of their best forwards, E. Brasman
and J, Rooney, were hurt, Brosman
having to have several stitches in
his face. Rooney is considered one
of the best young forwards Brisbane
has developed in recent years.

J. Fogarty, one of the laslett
