MR. A. B. BARDWELL TO MISS R. K. BOYLE.
A nr.'tty wedding was celebialed at the Church
of Christ. Stanton-street, Abb'itsford, on Thnrsdav,
21th August, when Mr. Alfred Benjamin liardwell,
fifth son of Mr. William Bardwell. of Fast Kew,
was united in marriage to Miss Rubv Eveline Boyle,
second daughtiT of Mr. John Boyle, of Abbotsford.
The ceremony was performed bv Mr. Lars Larscn.
The church was prettilv decorated for the occasion.
The bride, who was given awav bv ht;r father, wore
a becoming trained gown of eream silk crepc de,
ehene, trimmings of cream duchess^ sntin and 1 pearl
passementerie, with the usual wreath of orange,
blossom and veil - She was attended bv three
bridesmaids. Miss Daisy Bardwell (sister of the
bridegroom) wore azure blue Oriental satin : Miss
R. Bovle (sister of the bride)—coral pink Oriental
satin, tunic of ninon, trimmed with silk guipure :
Miss C. Boyle (sister of bridi^—heliotrope satin.
The hridesmaids carried crooks, with flowers, to
match their frocks. There vlere two little trainbearers—Miss
Kubv Sanquinetti. in white 6ilk, and
Master Boyle 'brother of bride), cream serge tunic,
with Admiral's hat. They both carried red flower
baskets.
After the ceremony the Party adjourned to .the
Lecture flail of the Oollliigwood Tmvn Hall, wbelo
wedding dejeuner was partaken of. (lie usual toasts
bi-ing proposed and responded to. A partv followed.
when soinr 120 guests made the evening
nurrv with dancing, singing and sanies. The happy
couple, left earlv in the evening for their honeymoon
trip, which was spent in the country. A largo
number of handsome and useful presents were received,
including a number of cheques from relatives.
