TAILORED SUITS.
In tailoied suits, thc short, straight-cut
favoured mid the still shorter, trim little
jacket. The thrce-qua'rter length sleeve with nu IHT
wide shape at' the bottom is noticeable on many
of the smartest-looking costumes, and in the little
Jitoiis it is the elbow-length sleeve that is often
worn. Thc skirts of these suits show thc slightly
raised waistline as a very popular feature, and fortrimming
they have facings, braiding, stitche-d bands
or panels in the front and back.
