CHEAPER FOR DONS AT
SHOWGROUN
By H. A. De LACY
If Essendon Football Club are sincere in
their desire to switch their headquarters to
the Showgrounds, they can do so almost overnight
for about a third of the rental they are
paying for the use of Essendon Recreation
Reserve.
g
If, however, Essendon
are bargaining and
playing the Showgrounds
against the Es-
; sendon Council, landlords
of their present
ground, then the footbailers
will be left high
and drv — at outs with I
1 both ground controllers.
