Lewis v. Lewis
The Attorney-General (Hon. A. I . Clark,
instructed by Messrs Ellisson and Son)
Appeared for the plainiiff (Mrs Laura
Lewis) to have the decision of the Court on
the construction of two wills, viz , those
David Lewis, sen. and David Lewis, jun.
as to what interest the widow of David
Lewis, jun. (Mrs L aura Lewis) took in
certain property in the Cambridge district.
The Solicitor General (Hon Alfred Dobson,
instructed by Messrs Lewis and Gant),
appeared to show cause.
Tho Chief Justice, after argument, held
that the construction of the will was that
the testator meant to leave his wife out
of participation in the Cambridge pro-
perty.
Mr Justice Dodds and hls Justice Adams
held a similar opinion.
The costs were ordered to be paid out
of the estate.
