TANUNDA * KAPUNDA
Tanunda won by 21-23 to 12-13 when
tlicy went to Kapunda on Saturday,
the home side's best showing being in
the last quarter. At first change-over
Tanunda led by 3-10 to 8-1, but Kap
unda had a 7-8 to 5-13 advantage at
half time. In the next term, tliey were
8-9 while Tanunda went to 15-19. The
Richter brothers played tenaciously in
defence for the visitors, showing great
?narking ability and quickly getting
rid of the ball with telling kicks. The
ruck superiority was provided by Car
uian and Wuttke, while Gursansky and
Heidenreich were well to the fore. Im
provement in Zander is noticed each
match, and the Fechner bros. deserve
mention. Ellis, outstanding for Kap
iinda was well supported by Ryan, Cun
ningham, Wiseman, Hambour, Stevens
