At Uringah, the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Theo. Smith, some friends of Miss
Enid Bugg met on Tuesday evening to
wish her many happy returns of ligr
20th birthday, A very pleasant evening
w’as spent with cards and musical
items, after which a dainty supper was
served, the main feature being a cake
with twenty candles on it m ade by Mrs.
Smith and decorated by h er daughter,
Mrs. B. Lumsden,
Mr. R. Butler, wiio died at Ulverstonc
on Saturday, w'as a brother.of
Messrs. S. and E. Butler of. Stanley.
Mr. and Mrs. R.^ Ingles and Bobbie
from RVnvard visited Mrs. T. J. S.
\\ 11kins ond other relations at Stanley
on Sunday.
Mrs. Vincent from Queenstown,
who had been visiting her sister, Mrs.
Cowell, returned on Monday. ■
Mr. Grubb has received word of the
death of his youngest sister, Helen,
Mrs. Ernie Hazelwood, jvhich occurred
last Friday at 12 Ward Street,.,f>ou|h
Melbourne, Jn her 6Gth -year, after fa
long and painful illness. -
