'YES" FOR TWELVE REASONS. j
To the Editor.
1. The Federal Bib is the greatest
triumpn that liberalism has yet achieved
in Australia. 2. It provides the most
liberal Constitution in the world. 3. This
Constitution can be moulded to the
people's will, it time proves the need of
reform. 4. J'lie Senate, as weli as the
House of Representatives, will be elected
by, and will be responsible to, the man
hood of Australia. If the Federal Con
vention, winch was practically a (Senate in
which the States were equally represented,
could give us such liberal legislation an the
Federal Bib, we have nothing to fear from
future Senates oiccted on the most liberal
fru ttchisc in the woriel, especially when the
controlling power in legislation will rest,
mainly with the House of Representatives

Under federation the narrow profinciaT

national Australian spirit, which will
ensure justice between State and State,
and between man and man. Then will
every man of us be proud to say—"I affl

Constitution, and no future Convention
could make fairer or more equitable com

those who put private and provincial
greed before national greatness and pro

and Liberals who do not vote for the
Federal Bill on June 4 will ever after

amongst the purblind few who share not
the honour of creating the Australian
Commonwealth. Hurrah ~ for Referendum
