English Mail via Sues.—The B.H.S. Malwa wt'I
be dispatched with the mails for Western Australia,
Ceylon, India, China, and the East, Aden, Mauritius,
Eenion, Haul, Cape of Good Hope, Suez, and Medi
terranean Forts, Europe, America, and the United
Kingdom, on Thursday, August 18. The timrs
appointed for cloelug are—For registered etten, Wed
nesday, August 17, at 8 p.m. For ordinary letters,
Thursday, August .18, at 8 a.m.; for newspapers,
at 8 a.m. Money orders payable In the United King
dom will be leaned up to 2 p.m. on Wednesday,
August 17. The English malls lor the above will close
at Fort Adelaide and Semaphore as followsFor
registered letters, Wednesday, August 17, at 7
p.m. For ordinary letters, Thursday, August
18, at 8 a.m. ; for newspapers, at 7 am. Late
letters, on which a late fee of 6d. has been pre
paid, will be received at General Post-Office up to
8.16 a.m., on Thursday, August 18, and at Glenelg
up to 10 46 a.m., or according to the time the mail
steamer Is signalled as passing Cape Jervls. A late
fee bag will be hung up on board the P. A O. steamer
carrying the outward mails, in which letters only for
the United Kingdom can be posted with a late fre of
1b. each. Postage Great Britain, letters 8d., not ex
needing 4 oz.; newspapers Id., not exceeding 4 oz.

the Orient (steamer), on Thursday. August 26, via

at 11 am. Money orders for above at 2 p.m. on
Wednesday, August 24. Postage—Great Brita'n, i la
