Steam Flour-mill at Clare —It is very
gratifying to observe the measures that are being
taken just now for the erection of flour-mills in
various pails of the country. We have already re

ment of one at Salisbury, and we can now announce
a similar movement at Clare. A meeting was held
on Saturday last, at Clare Inn, for the purpose of
taking the necessary steps for the erection of a
flour-mill in the township of Clare. A most kindly
spirit'of unanimity pervaded the meeting. Eesolu
tions weire passed for the formation of a company,
with a capital of£2,000, to be divided into 490 shares
of £5 each. 332, shares were taken at the meeting, ■
