POLICE COURT CASES.
At the police court to-day (before
Mr E. W. Turner, P.M.) Arthur Ernest
Latham was again up on remand, charg-
ed with larceny as a bailee of goods
valued at £9 10s, the property of
E. . J. Miller, of Zeehan. On the ap-
plication of Mr A. G. Omant, the case
was adjourned, until Friday next, at
2.30 p.m., bail being granted. The
cattle straying case adjourned from
Wednesday last was called on. Mr
J. W. Hudson appeared for Arthur
Fairfield, and objected to, the produc-
tion of the, by-laws of the Town Board
of Zeehan, on the grounds of their in-
validity. The case was adjourned sine
die, in order to consider the points
raised.
