DEATHS.
CARSTAIRS.—On the 13th inst., at his resi-
dence, Retreat Road, Newtown, Geelong,
James Grafton Carstairs, M.D., aged 74
years.
A short service will be held in the High
Church, Gheringhap-street, Geelong, on Sa-
turday, the 26th inst., at 2 o'clock p.m., after
which the funeral will leave at 2.45 p.m. for
the New General Cemetery.

CANSICK.—On the 15th January, 1904, at
Geelong, Maria (Minnie), the beloved wife
of Paul Cansick, and youngest daughter of
Ann and the late Patrick Keenan, aged 34
years. Requiescat in Pace. No flowers.
The remains will be interred in the Geelong
Eastern Cemetery to-morrow (Sunday), the
17th inst. The funeral will leave her late resi-
dence, No. 3 Weller-street, Geelong West, at
3 p.m.

killed), William Matthews, the dearly loved
husband of Eliza Matthews, of Breakwater,
and second son of the late William Mat-
thews, of Moolap.

p.m., for the Eastern Cemetery.

170 Latrobe Terrace, Chilwell, Geelong,
John, the dearly beloved husband of Emma
Young, and father of Mrs. G. Brewer,
Charles Young and Mrs. H. Solomon; and
senior letter carrier in the Geelong Post
office for 25 years; also a colonist, of 55
years; aged 79 years. No flowers. Deeply
regretted.
