Social Afternoon Aids
Mandurah Methodist Church
A social afternoon was arranged at the Mandurab
Methodist Church on May 10, by Mesdames Paylor, J*
Warne, Opperman, Rossell, Leadbeater, Payser, Hancockr
Rodway, N. Warne, Hillman and Samuels. \
A very pleasant afternoon was
spent with quite a nice profit for
guild funds.
The mixed stall was the work
of the Ladies' Guild members and
their friends. There were a num
ber of pretty and useful articles
for sale, and cakes and cookies
were soon cleared up.
Function was opened by Rev
Jenkins, who acted as spokesman
all through. A dainty afternoon
tea was served and items rendered
by Mrs: Samuels and Mrs. Mar
shall.
Song guessing competition was
won by Barbara Tuckey, book
guessing by Gillian Burley.
A good number of visitors were
noted. Among- those present were
Mrs. R. F. Marshall, Mrs. O. Mid
dleton (Mosman Park); Mrs. A.
Revell . (South Perth); Mrs. A.
Gray, Mrs. K. Lockhart, Mr. and
Mrs. L. A. Thomas (Armadale);
and Mrs. M. and Mrs. C. Spalding
(Baaksiadale).
