Islington Beats Lambton
The A, B, and C Peniant competitions
of the Newcastle and District Bowling
Association were continued on Saturday.
In the A Pennant, Istlington surprised
bh defeating Lambton, Which was consid
ered to have a chance of winning the No.
I section. In the other gamines in the A
Pennant, Hamilton defeated Wickham by
27 points, and won in three of the four
rinks; Newcastle South revetrsed the re
sult of its previous meeting with National
Park and won by 10 points; City again de
feated Stockton, thouLb the margin was
only three points. B.H.P. defeated Warn
lah by 22 pointe.
In thle B Pennant, Wallsend defeated
B.H.P. (1). Boolaroo defeated Lambtoun,
Belmont defeated National Park (1),
Waratah defeated Toronto, Hamilton (1)
dlefeated National Park (2), City defeated
Lowlands, Raymond Terrace defeated
HIamilton (2), B.H.P. (2) defeated Adams.
