After several days of muggy and unsettled
weather, rain set in here again on Thursday,
aod has continued with little or no'intermie
esion for.eoral days. As the result of this
watory visitation, our farmers are.now get
ting'anxious forfear we may have too much
of tit. Our vineyard proprietors are also
somewhat alarmed for fear of losing their
crop of grapes at this oritical juncture when
the lueoious fruit is just ripening, it being a
weoll-knowin fact that they burst through ex
coeesivo e moisture.
