FENNELL'S BAY FAIR
RAISES £48
The Women's Auxiliary of the
Fennell's Bay P.C.C.A. raised £48
at a spring fair on the proposed
hall site.
Mrs. N. Griffiths, of Toronto, de
clared the fair open. The judges
Mesdames J. H. Hunphries, J.
Tennent, and Miss M. Paton
awarded prizes to the following
Sandwich cake, Mrs. N. Sullivan:
scones, Mrs. F. Wellham; small
cakes, Mrs. N. Sullivan; chocolate
cake, Mrs. F. Green; needlework,
Mrs. F. Green; flowers, Mrs. C.
Bent; toffee, Bobby Green.
Stallholders were-Cakes, Mes
dames M. McDonald, G. Darcy, R.
Pickles; work, Mesdames L. Mc
Manus, C. Richardson; produce,
Mesdames E. J. Winter, H. Taylor;
drinks, Mesdames Dunn, F. Green;
tea, Mesdames G. York, T. Well
ham and W. Suzor.
The President of the general
committee (Mr. W. Pratt) thanked
the auxiliary members for their
work, proceeds of which will go
to the building fund.
