Troy with 79, the foursome in
the afternoon to Mesdames -Mor-
an and Callan, and 18 holes
stroke on Sunday morning to
Miss J. Davies with -77. However,
the least said of the golf re
sults the better, but socially' a
good week-end was had by all. ?
'Mentioned in Despatches' for
the local comps.: Wednesday, 6th,
Par, won by Mrs. Hulford, 2 down,
on count back from Mrs. Callan;
Saturday, 9th, stroke, won by
Mrs. Collins, with S3 off the stick
and reduction in handicap.

knew you'd do It soon. Sunday,
no comp.
Saturday, 6th: First qualifying
round of championship, to be -
played In two grades, 'A' to 30,
'B' 31 to 36.
Sunday, 17th: Richards Cup,
second round. -
36 Markers: Mrs. Callan .has
very .kindly . donated r a -special
trophy for 33 markers dnly; for
the best aggregate over the two
qualifying. rounds, so we hope to
see you all out on Saturday for
the first round, the second 'rounil 1

arrangements for this tournament
were finalised at our- general
meeting on Monday night last.

to assist with the cooking of

nations of cakes for -afternoon
tea on the Saturday and Sun
day (July 30th and '31st), .fil
lings for sandwiches, oream, milk,
