EASY WIN
AT WANGANUI
WANGANUI, Wednesday
(A.A.P.-Reuter). — Australia to
day defeated;- Wanganui by an
innings and 111 runs with 80
minutes to spare.
Australia, 6 for 191 overnight,
today, added 101 runs before
? lunch, including a ? seventh
wicket partnership of 88 by
Tallon and Sismey in which
Tallon hit 13 fours.
Wanganui's second innings
was another rout. At one stage
Puckett had 3 for 4 off seven
overs. Ring took 4 'for 29 and
Puckett 4 for 30. Cave, who was
at the wicket for 88 minutes for
31, was 'the only batsman to
make a stand.
