Maitland Fat Stock Market
The fat stock sales were held at Camp
bell's Hill saleyards yesterday, in the pre
sence of a good attendance of the trude.
The fat cattle supply was small, and un
equal to trade requiremento. Competition
was very brisk, and valueswere in advance
of Monday's rates. Fat calves were penned
in light supply, to a very brisk demand, and
valu es were in advance of late quotations.
Fat sheep were penned in light supply. The
demand shas extremely brisk, and values
higher than Monday's rates. Fat and store
pigs were in small supply, and sold at high
rates. Particulars of sales were as fol

60s to 70s, good 40s to 55I, medium 25s to
3Is, inferior 12s 6d to 22s Gd.
Fat Shcep.-I sold my consignment at O;
to 12s Gd.
Pigs.-I sold-H. J. Sivyer, 6 at 16s 3d,
2 at lts; H. P1'. Phillips, 2 at 30s Gd; J. K.
