A toloegram in Saturday's vesing Nescs says
-~"The steamer Ridge Park, from Sydney,
grounded while cocing up the port river to-day.
However, with the assistance of the stoamtugs,
she was got off all eolo."
Lesere, Brown's facilitfes for towing vessels
re m Spdney to this port by means of their regp
lur trading steamers running to and from Sydney
are well known, but when extra requirements
oress for the employment of their other fine tugs
belonging to this port, for this service, instances
of very quick despatch have been afforded. As
an exemplificationof this assertion, we may men
itn that their steamer Goolwa. Captain Suther.
lend, left here at midnighton Friday for Sydney,
bor the purpose of towing round the Dutch barque
Bnrgomeistor ven Middloburg, 628 tons, and shel
entered this'port again a 4 pom. on Saturday,
with that vessel, having been only 16 hours
absent..
WBlWoK OF THE 'oNAuno.--The corrospon
dent of the 8. 1M Hrald at bloraya says: --" I
have just returned from the wreck in company
with Mr. Hicks, school iospector, who kindly
brought the remaining load of p2Aoneorn in his
buggy. All the paesengers are now in Moruya.
The stern part of the vessel to the bridge has
been washed away. The starboard engine and
boiler have given way. The fore part of the
ship is intact, sustaining corgo, but I think it
must give in at high tide. The shrn is flush
with the shore, and perpendicular. A heavy
sea has been running but it is now moderating.
The captain and crew remain at the scene of the
wrook.
