Mr. Kelly's
Honour
Unsullied
SYDNEY, Tuesday.- The
Police Commissioner (Mr.
Delaney) has agreed to de
stroy all records of the ar
rest and fingerprinting of Mr.
John Kelly, of Michelago.
The Premier (Mr. Cahill)
announced this in the, Legis
lative Assembly to-night.
He said Mr. Seiffert (Lab.,
Monaro) had asked him to
have Kelly's arrest removed
from criminal records.
[In the Legislative Assem
bly recently, Mr. Seiffert said
Sydney police had arrested
Kelly, fingerprinted him,
placed him in a cell. then
broueht him before .a Court
where he was fined for hav
ing parked his ticuck in a citv
street.]
Mr. Cahill said Mr. De
nliey had told him the:records
would contain no mention of
the arrest.
The parking conviction
would be the only offence
listed against Kelly.
