by units of the Fleet Air Arm operat

The harbor and aeroarome were hit,
many fires ano explosions being seen.
Ark Royal was attacked by
enemy bombers, but no hits were
made, and there was no damage
and no casualties.
During these operations two shadow

ROAD JUNCTION HIT
Important supply bases for Ital!an
troops attacking Greece, were bombed
yesterday. Docks and jetties at
Sarande were attacked and severely
damaged.
One bomb exploded very close to a
freighter of 7,000 tons.
Konispolis, near the Greek border,
was also raided, the road junction
being badly damaged.
At the same time reconnaissance
flights were made over territory as
far north as and including Valona.
During Saturday night a further
attack was made on Naples, an oil
refinery, railway Junction, and
station being the principal targets.
Incendiary bombs started six fires
near the oil refinery, and a very large
blaze was seen after the railway station
had been bombed.
In spite of considerable A.A. fire
from land and ships in harbor, the
attack was pressed home.
All British aircraft engaged in all
these operations returned to their bases
undamaged.--B.O.W.
