"Is Love Everything?"
"Is Love Everything?" the forceful
society drama which heads the pro
gramme at West's, presents a problem
of vital interest. It is produced on a
lavish scale, and the story is Inter
iroted with singular force by a brilliant
cast, with Frank Mayo, Alma Rtibcns,
and H. B. Warner in the leading roles.
A beautiful society girl is forced into
a loveless marriage with'a millionaire,
although her heart is given to a. pen
niless youth. After two years of mar
riage comca the inevitable disillusion
ment, snd the husband, to test the
loyalty of his wife, takes her and her
former lover on a yachting cruise, His
experiment brings idsaster in its waken,
and results ian ;.critax of compellling
force.
On the same programmo is "'Just.ice
of the Far North," a novel production,
filmed in the snow-covered wastes of the
Arctic regions. It presents a realistic
picture of the Eskimos, their primitive
passions, and their quaint ceremonies,
interwoven with a powerful love story.
Mlakime Brodl, the Russian tenor, sings
oharming numbers at both afternoon
and evening sessions.
