What Qur Readers Thinrnk.
To the Editor ;:
Bus Competition
"Looker-On;" Adelaide:--Mr. R. Elliott,
Malvern, asks if I know that most bus
owners are returned soldiers. In reply I
should like to ask Mr. Elliott, what
about the returned soldiers on the trams
and railways? Nothing is said about
them.
The sooner that private buses are put
out of King, William street the better it
will be. Why are they allowed to stand
in the main thoroughfare for hours?
Why do they frequently wait for a tram
or railways bus and then get in front
of it?.
If owners ,of private buses observed a
regular timetable the public might pat
ronise them.
