A ZULU WITCH.

A Zulu witch doctor is exercising a
great influence on Bambaata's followers,
alleging that she will render them bullet
proof.
Large quantities of rebel cattle have
been captured, and also numerous prisoners.
Several of Bambaata's Indians were
killed, and an armed spy was shot.
The Government is closely watching
Mskofoli, who controls five thousand
warriors.

Bambaata, with, one hundred and
fifty followers, crossed the Tugela
River, and has taken refuge with
other natives he gathered on route in
the impenetrable Nkaiulhla forest,
where he will be secure until starved
out. His crops and kraals have been
destroyed.
The militia are about to be dismissed,
and the loyal natives are returning
home. '
