BRISBANE: Queensland Liberal

forced to land with an engine on fire.
Senator Herron and his wife, Jan,

a report in today's Sunday Mail.
"We heard the bells ringing in the
cockpit. Then [we] heard the captain
call for the purser. He had a very
urgent tone in his voice," he said.
The Sydney-bound plane was
forced back to Brisbane. The Bureau
of Air Safety is investigating the
cause of the fire.
The manager of Ansett in Queens
